NEWS RELEASE

NOCLS Spring Dance

April 2, 2007

Over 100 people participated in NOCLS’s Spring Dance held
Friday night at Paddle Wheel Hall.  With the theme of Broadway, many of the 50’s and 60’s fans came out in their bright colours with white socks to dance the evening to the Young’uns.  The barbeque was extremely well received with most of the products being
donated by Mark and Heather Angle from Bean to Cup.

The Westjet Tickets anywhere in Western Canada with $200
of Best Western accommodations courteous of Marlin Travel was purchased by Barry Foster for $1,050.

Pippa Shaw representing Designer’s Gallery Team brought in the single most pledges with $16,221, Calvin Hoy second at $7,300, Garry Molitwenik at $7,250 third and Ryan Molitwenik forth at $4,485.

The team that raised the most money was Designer’s Gallery with $18,744 and a close second place with the NOCLS Team bringing in $16,285.

The Spring Dance totals were down slightly from last years 24 Hour event, but the expenses were down significantly thus producing very similar Net results.  These results were possible only because of all the hard work and donations of the Committee Members and the Community of Vernon.

NOCLS wishes to thank everyone for their continued support to make NOCLS’s Spring Dance a wonderful success at a total of $53,850.

THANK-YOU!

Garry Molitwenik
Executive Director
